The project will provide for the
study of Russian language, culture, education, and business
through university courses and a trip to
Russia
.
The target market is students from
Rice
University
,
University
of
Houston
,
the
University
of
Texas
at Austin, some upper schools of
Texas
,
and American businessmen who are looking for business
opportunities in
Russia
The course will be supervised by Dr.
Nataliya Moshchinskaya, professor of the Department of Russian
language of the
Russian
Academy
of Science, a visiting professor of the Department of Slavic
Language of the
University
of
Texas
at
Austin
in 1989/1990. Dr.
Nataliya is a Russian specialist, who has worked out an
innovative method of teaching Russian.
The project will run from June to August every year for two
weeks, four weeks, and two months terms. Students will have six
hours classes of Russian per day, and six days per each week.
They will still visit some museums of Russian history and
culture, art galleries and exhibitions, and well-known Russian
plans and companies.
This project helps to expand the knowledge of students, create
better educational tools, and stimulate the growth of
economy. |
