PROFILES
#
7 - John Kamm (C) A veteran of the HHA and Panther team, John is known for his "Knuckle Puck" which when on net cannot be stopped by an HHA goalie. The only problem is....it gets on net 3 of 10 times top |
|
#
11 - John Parks
Proud jersey sponsor of the Panthers, John is alos one of the original Panthers. Initially a "curling like" slap-shot. Johnny P gets the rocket working at least once during the game. top |
|
#12
- Travis Barker
Our South America Hockey scout, Travis spent most of the last 4 years below the equator polishing his hockey skills. Travis was the only players to opt for the team matching blue helmet. top |
|
#
21 - Perry Johannson
After Receiving the nickname "Turtle,"
Perry decided to go under the knife for a bionic enhancement to the
shoulder. The result, arguably the hardest slap-shot in the HHA.
But when he winds up, just duck, it always seems to find goalies'
heads. |
|
#
15 - Scott Patlovich Scott is one of the Panthers two way players, but is much more effective on offense. Picked up as a recruit by Bob Emery, Scott has put his professional bowling career on hold to follow his dream to play with the Panthers. top |
|
#
8 - Kent Parker Kent is a new addition to the Panthers this year. We don't have much Bio on Kent, but we know he plays a solid firewall defense and one reason for the turnaround of the Panthers team this year. |
|
#
22 - Greg Tompkins Greg joined the Panthers this year. Greg fits well with this bunch of guys, you could tell from the first game when he was asking "Where's the Beer" before the game even started. Greg is a kick-ass defenseman. |
|
#
24 - Eugene Balakirov (Shoulder injury on 9-18-2002) Another new face for the Panthers this season is Eugene. The Panthers pick-up of a good position player in Eugene, who is also a for-checker and a back-checker and can put garbage in the net or pass to create a scoring chance. May be it sounds too good to be true. |
|
#
14 - Mark Smith
Mark returns for another season with the
Panthers. When he is not busy shredding documents, Mark enjoys
trying on different Panther Jerseys to see which ones have goals in
them. So Far # 14 is working great for him this season.
|
|
#
4 - Richard White Whitey as we call him, or goon as the rest of the league, has been with the Panthers from the beginning. I think he and Kamm started this league....? Don't make him angry, you won't like him when he is angry. Whitey defensive skills keep the Panthers in the game each week. top |
|
#
32 - Dave Steadman Dave rejoins the Panthers for his second season. His first Season he blames the poor play on the Jersey number, hmmm, maybe he and Mark Smith should have chat. Dave is our motivational speaker on the bench, regardless of how many goals we are down or up, he tries to rally us big time. |
|
#
33 - Glen Huscroft Older brother of a former NHL player, we know who got all the skill and drank milk as a kid. The season just isn't complete unless Glen is going to the Hospital. Just kidding, we love having him back full time and he makes the difference for this Panther team, we just don't know when. |
|
#
34 - Steve Santini
Player and "undercover" reporter for the Panthers, we have blotted out his picture at this time to protect his true identity. It has been often thought that he is the "Standard" of the league. Boy is this league in trouble? Usually, he leads the team in breakaways without conversions and thanks Dave for taking this from him. |
|
#
31 - Bob Emery
Bob is playing with the Panthers due to an abundance of goalies in the Washington Capitals system. Bob has been a part of the organization since the second season and is the only Panther player to be featured with a fully poseable action figure. It was the only time the Panthers have recorded a sell out at home. |
